We’ve created a list of common questions and answers to help you get the most out of your instrument and optimize your testing process.
The IC-VIS measures absorbance at 4 different wavelengths (420 nm, 520 nm, 560 nm and 610 nm). This gives you access to hundreds of methods for measuring various chemical components in your liquid samples. For example: Ammonia, Nitrate, Nitrite, Phosphate, Chloride, Iron, Manganese, Copper, Chromium, Zink, Lead, Fluoride, Silica, COD, BOD, TOC, TSS, DO, Sulphate, Phenol, Aluminium, Nickel, Cobalt, Free Chlorine, Total Chlorine, etc....
You chose whichever method and reagent from whichever brand that you prefer!
Upon delivery, your IC-VIS contains 4 methods, measuring the absorbance at each available wavelength. Number of methods is kept at a minimal, so you can tailor your device with the methods you want. This can easily be done by either downloading already available methods from the Method Library:
Or you can add your own custom methods in the IC-VIS configurator.
Spec-Imaging has a Method Library with methods that can be loaded to your IC-VIS.
But you can also add your own custom methods in the IC-VIS configurator.
You add methods to your IC-VIS by simply scanning a QR-code and voilà,
IC-VIS has a new method added!
