Structured-illumination optical instruments for real-time analysis of complex industrial liquids — color, UV-Vis absorbance and particle properties — measured directly in or close to the process, rather than in an offline lab.
It adds a known spatial pattern into the light used for a measurement. Light that has been multiply scattered by a turbid liquid loses that pattern; useful, singly-scattered signal keeps it. Decoding the pattern at detection lets us separate true absorption from scattering.
Instant Clarity™ is the turbidity/scattering correction layer built on Structured Illumination — it produces a cleaner optical signal. Spec-AI™ is the model layer on top of that, turning the corrected optical signal into a process value such as a color index, a proxy concentration, or a particle metric — using a physics-based, data-driven or hybrid model depending on what the application calls for.

No. Depending on the application, a product may run inline, online (side-stream), at-line or in the laboratory. Each product page covers its own connectivity and deployment options.
Every configuration is benchmarked against an independent reference method on real samples, agreement is reported with standard statistical measures, the result is documented against a specific matrix and configuration, and application-specific models are re-checked as the process changes. See the validation section on the Technology page for the full framework.
Not as a standalone page — there isn’t yet enough independent validation data to justify one. CIP still appears as a real use case on the Food & Beverage application page.
Not exclusively — IC-VIS™ supports both direct absorbance/color measurement and reagent-based method workflows, depending on the method loaded. It’s flexible rather than reagent-free by design.
